Evolving from the Jenbacher Werke Vertriebsgesellschaft founded back in 1950, Rofan GmbH exclusively marketed products manufactured by Jenbacher Werke AG's Austrian operations in Germany up until 1980. Parallel to this, the transport vehicles product range with all the related departments including development, sales and customer service was developed. Within just a short space of time, Rofan brand vehicles carved out a significant niche in the market.

Today the Rofan brand is known and valued far beyond Germany's borders for its innovative design, quality and stable value. More than 4000 vehicles have been produced to date.

Rofan transport vehicles are used all over Europe as well as in the Middle and Far East.
