We can be very pleased with our performance at this show, the most important international trade fair for airport equipment, technology and services – the interest in our presentation of transport vehicles for airports and industry was overwhelming.

Our newly designed exhibition stand attracted almost twice as many visitors as were received in 2005. The extended area of the stand, which offered the possibility to show interested parties an attractive selection of Rofan vehicles, was certainly another reason for the gratifyingly high number of new prospective customers. Equally pleasing was the fact that a large proportion of the guests who registered with us were qualified decision makers – partners with whom we were able to establish the basis for some concrete projects while still at the show.

With two vehicles on display, our main focus with this years exhibit was hybrid technology. We have been supplying hybrid vehicles that work using the parallel principle for over 10 years now and are the undisputed market leader in this segment. Our hybrid machines, offering the flexible option of changing from powerful diesel operation outdoors to emission-free electrical drive indoors, particularly caught the attention of the visitors.

A further highlight of the show was our promotion offering the chance to acquire one of a limited allocation of ready-to-deliver ZD3 diesel tow tractors at an attractive price. We intend to continue this project: in future, the sales forum area of our website will always feature a special offer on new vehicles available from stock.

Last but not least, we naturally wanted our new trade stand concept to be devoted to offering hospitality. We have replaced the familiar container with a climate-controlled gazebo, and replaced the traditional show fare with a small, carefully chosen selection of creative specialities and fine wines. "Feel good with Rofan" was the motto: our chef, Alexander Johow, cooked his way straight into the hearts of the guests with his tasty treats, proving that the slogan for the Rofan service, "Always on Duty", does not just apply to our vehicles.
